EBC trek - Absolutely Stunning - Every detail taken care of

Traveling with a group of three. Never been trekking in Nepal. However I can't imagine it going any better.

Mountian Mart took care of everything at a reasonable price.

The very best part are the guides and porters they provide. I can't say enough about our guide Makar and our porters Gorka and Promise.

Makar saw to all the details. We saw other groups and guides and Makar was by far a step above everyone we saw. Sadly some groups were suffering from various sicknesses (some of it comes simply by chance) but Makar really took care of us and we were all in fine shape throughout the trek.

Makar is always smiling and has so many interesting facts and stories. Gorka was always just having a good time (all while carrying our heavy gear.) How do they do that without hardly breathing at 17,000 feet is simply amazing!

Upon our return to Kathmandu, Makar said this was his last trek before the monsoon season and sadly we said our good byes.

The following day we arranged for a day tour of Kathmandu through Mountian Mart which was also nice. But the best part was Makar showed up with the tour guide Siri! We got to spend one last day hanging around with Makar :) He certianly didnt have to do it so we really do feel we have made another true friend in this great big world.
